Building Physics Engineer

1)To undertake engineering Building Physics design and modelling on a range of projects. 2)Ensuring and understanding of project briefs 3)Carry out review Building Physics simulations for both compliance and building performance engineering 4)Design and specification of all Mechanical Building Services systems - heating, cooling, ventilation, controls, etc. 5)Experience of coordinating analysis work with the wider design team to enable accurate representation of the proposed (or actual) physical space to be modeled – coupled with an ability to communicate what the impacts key design decisions by other disciplines will have on the thermal performance of the space. 6)Ability to produce technical reports that discuss the analysis processes undertaken, inputs/ outputs, conclusions, impact on other disciplines (primarily Building Services & Architecture), etc. 7)Preparing drawings for drafting by the BIM team, a working understanding / use of Auto desk (& Revit). 8)Site surveys, inspections, and monitor site works. 9)Report & technical note writing. 10)Maintaining complete records and archives to company standards. 11)Adherence to all quality, environmental & governance processes. 12)Managing own workload, updating forward plan of workload regularly & working to time allocations. 13)Managing elements of project delivery and an understanding of budget costing. 14)Reviewing progress, Inc. reporting any anomalies and changes of scope to the line manager.
