Engineer Concrete

1)Responsible in every aspect of the building process, from design conception to inspection of the completed structure. 2)Provide oversight for concrete phases of construction project including coordinating and managing job site team, material and equipment and ensuring that specifications are being followed and work is proceeding on schedule, within budget and with the highest level of quality. 3)Prepare or direct the preparation of purchase orders and subcontractors for concrete materials and labour. This includes concrete, rebar, stud rails, post-tensioning, formwork, tower and mobile crane, and any other miscellaneous concrete materials. 4)Coordinate all aspects of concrete construction with the owner and general contractor including submitting and coordinating all projects schedule, pay applications, change orders, submittals and approval and RFIs 5)Oversee the execution of projects, which involves constant interaction with construction workers, clients and other building professionals. 6)Concerned with the safety of structures and make informed decisions regarding the reliability and risks of certain types of concrete 7)Ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, or other governmental regulations. 8)Supports concrete and civil estimating, including, quantity takeoffs, estimates, proposal development and subcontractor scopes/pricing 9)Support Civil and Concrete Strategic Planning initiatives, effectively implement and ensure compliance with strategic plan. 10)Identify environmental risks and develop risk management strategies for civil engineering projects. 11)Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology
