Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee and optimize our warehouse activities within a manufacturing environment. This role requires strong leadership, a keen eye for process improvement, and the ability to collaborate across teams to ensure efficient material handling and inventory management.
Let's Talk About the Role:
Warehouse Management: Lead and coordinate day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring smooth workflows and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Team Leadership: Train and supervise warehouse material handlers, ensuring adequate coverage and supporting their professional development.
Inventory Control: Work closely with production planning to maintain accurate inventory levels, address discrepancies, and manage slow-moving, obsolete, and scrap inventory items.
Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with 3PL providers to ensure timely material movements, accurate documentation, and cost-effective solutions.
Operational Excellence: Identify and resolve stock accuracy issues, initiate continuous improvement projects, and enhance space utilization within the facility.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with various teams to meet operational demands, deliver on requests efficiently, and maintain high service standards.
Health & Safety: Uphold and implement health and safety protocols, ensuring compliance and fostering a safe working environment.
Let's Talk About Qualifications and Experience:
Required:
Diploma with at least 5 years of relevant experience in warehousing and manufacturing.
Preferred:
Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management best practices.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Proficiency in optimizing space utilization and collaborating with 3PL providers.
Proven ability to drive process improvements and enhance operational efficiency.
