• Overseeing of the full spectrum finance duties, including financial and accounting operations and reporting for all companies within the Group. • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives, short and long-term goals. • Prepare financial forecast, budget and projections to support decision-making and resource allocation. • Prepare and analysis of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statement, and other financial performance metrics. • Implement and monitor effective financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. • Optimize cash flow, working capital and liquidity management to meet the company’s financial obligations and invest excess funds appropriately. • Oversee banking relationship and financial transactions, including investments and debt management. • Provide financial insights and advice to support strategic business decisions, investment opportunities, cost optimization initiatives. • Identify and develop comprehension risk management framework to safeguard the financial health of the company. • Lead, guide & motivate the Finance Team, ensuring their growth and development, achieved KPI, continuous improvement and assist in recruiting within the Financial Department. • Build, maintain relationship, and liaison with external stakeholders, including auditors, financial institutions, regulatory bodies, company secretary and others. • Represent the company in financial discussion and negotiations when needed to ensure the company’s interests are protected. • Overseeing and manage the monthly financial closing activities, statutory and tax compliance for all companies within the Group. • Ensure all the financial report, pricing strategy and product costing to be completed accurately within the deadlines. • Assist to apply company licensing and permit if needed. • Any ad-hoc duties assigned by superior or Management. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or any equivalent accounting professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/ICAEW) with proven working experience in a managerial role. • Minimum 10 years of working experience in a commercial Accounting or Finance. • Preferably with experience in a retail environment. • Familiar with Malaysia Taxation and tax incentives will be added advantage. • Comprehensive knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, tax regulations, and industry best practices. • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights. • Leadership and problem-solving skills • Meticulous with excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines. • Computer literate with Microsoft Office & Accounting Software • Knowledge in SAP system will be an added advantage. • Required languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin as role requires candidate to deal with Mandarin speaking clients.
