Purchasing Executive

RESPONSIBILITIES • To carry out daily procurement activities including sourcing, negotiation, purchasing items, arranging payment, and keeping records based on company guidelines. • To research potential products, vendors, and services, and compare price and quality to ensure the best deal. • To handle import shipments and liaise with forwarding agents regarding raw materials, machinery, and spare parts. • Liaise with suppliers on all matters related to delivery, quality problems, returns, and compensation if the suppliers do not meet the requirements. • Liaising with warehouse teams to ensure goods are received on time. REQUIREMENTS • Candidate possesses at least a Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration / Commerce / Logistics & Supply Chain Management / Economics / International Business or any discipline. • 1 - 2 years of working experience in the related field in a manufacturing environment will be an added advantage. • Independently with minimum supervision and as a team player. • Familiar with the supply chain process. • Able to work in a challenging & fast-paced environment. • Strong prioritizing skills, ability to multi-task, and result-driven. • Good verbal & written English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (To liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates). • Fresh graduate with a high willingness to learn is also encouraged to apply • Candidates can work at Bandar Puncak Alam, Selangor.
