I'm hiring someone who expert in IT + experience in Business Operation Position: Digital Operations Specialist Company Industry: Powerplant Construction Working Location: Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ) KS/12,42920 Pulau Indah, Selangor Working hours: Mon to Fri / 0800 hour to 1800/ 3 days in office & 2 days WFH Working duration: 1 year (Renewable contract of employment) Salary: depends on experience from IT market. Job Summary: The Tooling Digital Operations Specialist I contributes to the global fulfilment process of tools by providing direction and direct contribution to: order fulfilment, systems support, data quality, global KPI maintenance, order tracking and other operational activities for the Tooling Global Operations Team. The Tooling Digital Operations Specialist I will perform some or all of the functions below in addition to other duties that maybe assigned. You may be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our vision and align without organization’s core values. Job Responsibilities: • Responsible for driving assigned tool centers to Global Tooling KPIs and supporting metrics • Responsible for providing business intelligence with reference to tooling fulfillment and management to assigned tool centers and region • Provides guidance and overall platform support to assigned tool centers and other stakeholders for all tooling digital platforms • Connects with vendors to obtain and negotiate quotes for digital operations projects at direction of management team • Partners with Quality team to assist in analysis to support Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and other onsite Quality measures • Works closely with tool centers to gain operational understranding and develop field driven digital operations processes • Utilizes data and subsequent analysis to assist in fulfillment disputes and escalations as required by global operations team • Works directly with SAP Ariba to provide technical support to tool centers and escalate when necessary to sourcing team • Works directly with SAP ETM to provide technical guidance to tool centers and escalate when necessary to ERP Support Team • Works directly with Sales Force to provide real time analysis and technical guidance to tool centers and escalate when necessary to Sales Force Support Team • Works on Global Projects at direction of Global Tooling Operations Director and Global Tooling Operations Manager • Travel may be required • Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments • Provide general operations and guidance to Tooling Coordinators, Facility Managers and Logistics team as necessary • Coordinates testing of all major digital platform enhancements Requirement: • Experience: o Min. 2 years of working experience in business improvement operations with a focus on optimizing tooling operations. o Experience in digital platforms (e.g., SAP/Salesforce/ERP) and acting as the bridge between the Operations Team and IT Team. o Experience testing digital systems from a business perspective, ensuring that systems meet operational needs before product release. • Strong Communication Skills: o Ability to effectively communicate across global teams and stakeholders, ensuring that business requirements are aligned and implemented successfully. • Industry Background: o Preferably comes from a supply chain industry or shared services supporting supply chain functions. o Strong understanding of the tools and processes that optimize supply chain and operational activities. • Excel Expertise: o Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, reporting, and tracking KPIs for tooling operations. Tableau is an added advantage • Project Management Understanding: o Familiarity with project management processes, including the ability to support or lead digital transformation projects within tooling operations.
