Lab Assistant
To ensure that incoming materials, semi-finished and finished products, as well as hygiene and GMP, meet acceptable specifications, and to communicate the results to the relevant PIC for necessary action on a shift basis.
1. Inspect incoming materials and vehicles and perform the necessary analysis for incoming materials and reports.
2. Prepare standard chemical solutions/culture media, and conduct sensory, physical, chemical, and microbiological analysis for raw and packaging materials, semi-finished and finished products, and record the results in the appropriate form.
3. To do a cleaning verification for processing and filling equipment
4. Periodically conduct Product shelf-life tests.
5. Periodically conduct environmental tests, including equipment and hand swabs, and microbiological air quality
6. Periodically perform GMP and pest control checks, and to communicate the results to the relevant parties.
7. Follow up on any non-conformities until they are resolved.
8. Supervise that the filling and packaging process meets the specifications including package integrity tests, product coding, and sampling procedure are conducted correctly according to the reference documents and perform these tests in case of absenteeism or similar conditions.
9. Conduct a monthly inventory stock for lab consumables and arrange/order all lab requirements, including chemicals, culture media, and instruments.
10. Commitment to the requirements of the quality management system, food safety, and other systems implemented in the company, and working following the related documents.
11. Ensure that laboratory instruments are maintained with high accuracy, while also maintaining lab consumables and lab hygiene to a high standard.
12. Supervise the quality cleaner.
13. Assist the QCQA & RND executives as requested.
14. Perform any other tasks requested by the quality manager.
