The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the HVAC chiller system, process cooling water system, and tool installations. Additionally, the role involves leading energy optimization projects, supporting ISO 50001 energy management system governance, and performing cost estimations for OPEX, tool installations, and improvement projects, alongside routine operations, maintenance, and system improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- HVAC Chiller System Management: Supervise the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC chiller systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Process Cooling Water System: Manage the process cooling water system, including monitoring, maintenance, and improvements to support production needs.
- Tool Installations: Coordinate and implement the installation of new tools and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Energy Optimization Projects: Lead and implement energy optimization projects aimed at reducing energy consumption and improving system efficiency.
- ISO 50001 Energy Management System: Support the governance and implementation of the ISO 50001 energy management system to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
- Cost Estimation: Perform cost estimations for OPEX, tool installations, and improvement projects to ensure budget alignment and financial efficiency.
- System Improvements: Identify opportunities for system enhancements and implement improvements to increase reliability and performance.
- Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems to prevent downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues promptly to minimize impact on operations.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, system performance, and project progress. Prepare reports as required.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all mechanical systems follow relevant safety standards and regulations. Promote a culture of safety within the team.
Qualification:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in handling mechanical and utilities systems, including:
- HVAC systems
- Process Cooling Water (PCW) systems
- Cleanroom environments
- Compressed Dry Air (CDA) systems
- Process Vacuum (PVAC) systems
- Process exhaust systems
- Certifications: Experience with ISO 50001 Energy Management System (EnMS) is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and solving skills.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in energy optimization projects.
- Experience with tool installation and commissioning.
- Additional Requirements:
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
