Senior Accountant

Location: KL City, Selangor Requirements: • Degree in Accounting with professional accounting qualification. • Able to work under pressure in meeting deadlines. • 5 years of accounting experience (with supervisory experience). • Familiar with AutoCount and Microsoft applications will be advantageous. • Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin. • Able to work independently with minimal supervision. • Possess a good and positive working attitude. • Good presentation and problem-solving skills would be advantageous. • Working experience with Intercompany reconciliation is an advantage. • Able to start work immediately will be an advantage Responsibilities: • Prepare and present accurate monthly financial statements, reports, and forecasts to clients. • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. • Develop, manage, and monitor annual budgets and financial plans. • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance. • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger, as well as the project ledger functions. • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations. • Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic planning. • Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements. • Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, especially on Services Tax, Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing, and Global Minimum Tax, and timely submission of all tax returns for the company and expatriates. • Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities as needed. • Assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them. • Ensure internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets. • Provide financial guidance and support to other departments. • Prepare and process the monthly payroll for the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. • Liaise with bankers on any facilities required.
