COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST

• Stay up to date with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental laws impacting the company’s operations. • Ensure the company adheres to federal, state, and local regulations, industry standards, and best practices. • Develop, update, and implement compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines to reflect changes in regulations. • Communicate compliance policies across the organization and provide training to employees to ensure understanding of their obligations. • Identify compliance risks, assess vulnerabilities, and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues. • Coordinate and conduct regular internal compliance audits to assess adherence to policies and regulations and support external audits or inspections. • Prepare and submit regulatory reports as required, maintaining accurate and comprehensive records of compliance-related activities. • Develop and deliver training programs to employees, contractors, and stakeholders on compliance obligations and best practices. • Oversee compliance with data protection and privacy laws, such as GDPR, and promote ethical behavior within the organization. • Ensure third-party vendors and contractors meet compliance requirements through due diligence and regular assessments. • Work closely with senior management, the legal department, and external stakeholders to address compliance issues and support business objectives.
