Sourcing Executive

Armstrong Technology Sdn Bhd Location: Sungai Buloh / Kota Damansara (Selangor) We are looking for a dynamic and creative person to join our team. You will play an important role in:- A. Planning & Operational Execution 1. Take lead in project development activity for any new equipment or new machinery purchase, including shipment arrangement to company premises. 2. Take lead in material sourcing activity for any new project material. 3. Ensuring compliance of test standard, customer requirement, performance requirements for all material sourced. Taking into consideration of cost effectiveness, availability and quality for all material sourced. 4. Arrangement of sample material, including shipment arrangement to destination required. 5. Initiation of new innovative technology driven processes for optimization of manufacturing cost. 6. Involvement in continuous improvement of cost saving activities, including sourcing of new competitive and quality supplier. 7. Working continuously on material VAVE to ensure effectiveness in material sourcing. 8. Providing technical supports to internal departments when necessary. 9. Creation and registration of new material code into ERP system. 10. Any other duties as assigned. Data Analysis and Reporting 11. Project development progress report. 12. Price comparison and specification comparison for new equipment, new machinery and new material sourced. 13. Cost analysis for any cost impact and cost savings activity. 14. To monitor & update monthly material cost savings. To be successful in this role, you will need to have: - Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in related field is required for this position · - Preferably specializing in Purchasing/ Logistic/ Supply Chain Management & Inventory · - Experience in Auto-count & ERP system will be an advantage. - Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Post Graduate Diploma or in any field equivalent. - Proven experience in sourcing activity. - An eye for detail and ability to maintain a very high level of accuracy. - Good communication skills. - Analytical skills. - Proficient in both verbal and written English.
