Project Engineer

Job Description We are looking to hire a dynamic team player to join our growing team. The candidate will be tasked to oversee the implementation of an assigned engineering project including monitoring of compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications. The candidate will also be needed to interact daily with the customer to interpret their needs and requirements. Duties and Responsibilities • Project co-ordination, scheduling, analyse site condition, carry out site installation, run production trials and handover • Electrical control panel design. • Work together with electrical and mechanical team. • Must have proven experience in PLC logic and programming works, preferably Omron, Siemens and Mitsubishi PLCs. • Coordinate with engineering teams to meet project schedule and quality standard. • Solve problems, develop features, run tests, maintain software, and other related development activities. • To provide documentations on project management and operation of system design. • To attend all project site meetings with the client, consultants, sub-contractors, suppliers, authorities, etc. and to ensure the smooth progress of the project. • To maintain and always improve good working relationship with relevant authorities, clients and within Company’s organization. • To assist to manage the daily project activities and ensure the activities are properly executed. • To coordinate and check and ensure all reports are in order for submission to relevant authorities. • To plan, develop and review works system such as procedures, work instruction and forms. • Select and manage the activities of external design contractors to ensure satisfactory standard of service received. • To define and structure of projects to achieve target in terms of delivery time, quality, cost and customer satisfaction. Requirements and Skills • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in similar environment. • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, good analytical and problem-solving skills. • Must be dynamic, energetic and be resourceful team player, able to work and manage projects independently to meet deadlines and within procedures set. • Experience with office management and engineering software. • Experience with project management. • Ability to organize and handle projects within prescribed time frame. • Your high competency to confer and ability to work in teams. • Strong organization skills with a problem-solving attitude. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. • Must possess good analytical skills and attention to detail. • Able to work on extended hours and public holidays to complete project works.
