Job Summary: (Project Manager – Renovation & Co-Living Industry)

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee renovation and construction projects within the co-living sector. The role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating with contractors and stakeholders, and ensuring that renovations align with timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovative housing solutions and a proven track record in project management and property renovations.

Key Responsibilities:Project Planning and Execution:

  • Oversee end-to-end renovation projects for co-living spaces, from initial design to completion.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring they align with company goals.
  • Monitor progress and proactively address any delays, risks, or challenges.

    Stakeholder Coordination:

    • Collaborate with architects, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver high-quality renovations.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related inquiries.
    • Ensure clear communication with property owners, investors, and residents throughout the project lifecycle.

      Budget and Resource Management:

      • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency.
      • Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers for materials and services.
      • Track expenditures and ensure projects are delivered within budget.

        Quality Assurance and Compliance:

        • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets quality standards and compliance with local regulations.
        • Address and resolve any issues related to construction, safety, or design.
        • Oversee the handover process, ensuring renovated spaces meet operational readiness.

          Reporting and Documentation:

          • Maintain accurate records of project progress, budgets, and timelines.
          • Provide regular updates and detailed reports to senior management.
          • Document lessons learned to improve future projects.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in renovation, real estate, or co-living industries.
  • Language requirements: English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Proficient in project management tools
  • Knowledge of construction techniques, building codes, and regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and blueprints.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
