General Manager
Job Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Brand Management: Develop and implement strategies to increase brand awareness and visibility in the community.
- KSK Public Relations: Manage media relations, press releases, and public appearances to promote the organization's mission and activities.
- KSK Community Engagement: Organize and participate in community events, workshops, & outreach programs to engage with the public.
- KSK Social Media Management: Oversee KSK's social media presence, creating engaging content & managing online interactions.
- KSK Partnership Building: Establish relationships with local businesses, government agencies, & other NGOs to increase collaboration & support.
- KSK Marketing Materials: Develop and distribute marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, and newsletters, to inform the public about the organization's services and initiatives.
Operations (40%):
- Overall Team Operations: Ensure the smooth functioning of the soup kitchen, food bank, and empowerment programs.
- Volunteer Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of volunteers to support staff, ensuring their well-being and motivation.
- Inventory Management: Maintain and manage inventory of food supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels to meet demand.
- Financial Operations: Oversee the budget, fundraising initiatives, and compliance with funding requirements.
- Quality Control: Ensure high standards of service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience in a managerial role, preferably within the non-profit sector.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration or a related field.
• Skills: Strong leadership, excellent communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in marketing and financial management.
• Personal Traits: Passionate about community service, empathetic, and committed to KSK organization's mission.
