Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Wedding Photographer and Editor to capture and produce stunning images that preserve the memories of couples' special days. The ideal candidate is skilled in photography, has an artistic eye, and is proficient in post-production editing. This role requires attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for storytelling through visuals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Photography

Capture high-quality images during weddings, engagements, and related events.

Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and preferences.

Use creative techniques to capture unique moments, emotions, and details.

Manage and maintain photography equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition.

2. Editing

Perform post-production tasks, including color correction, retouching, and enhancing images to meet professional standards.

Create cohesive photo albums or digital galleries tailored to the couple's style and requests.

Deliver finalized images within the agreed timeline.

3. Client Interaction

Meet with clients before events to discuss schedules, preferences, and expectations.

Build strong relationships with clients to ensure comfort and trust on the wedding day.

Provide excellent customer service throughout the process.

4. Event Preparation and Execution

Scout venues to plan for optimal lighting and shot composition.

Work seamlessly with wedding coordinators, vendors, and other professionals during the event.

Adapt quickly to dynamic situations to capture candid and posed moments.

5. Administrative Tasks

Organize and archive digital files for easy retrieval.

Manage bookings, contracts, and invoices in coordination with the team or independently.

Maintain knowledge of current trends in wedding photography and editing techniques.

Requirements

Proven experience as a wedding photographer and editor.

Proficiency in photography equipment and editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop).

Strong portfolio showcasing wedding and event photography.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.

Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of drone photography/videography.

Experience in videography or creating highlight reels.

Familiarity with social media and digital marketing for promoting photography services.

Work Environment

On-site at wedding venues and events.

Remote work for editing and client communication.

May involve travel, depending on client locations.

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
