Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to support our financial operations and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting expertise, knowledge of financial regulations, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience in the fintech or cryptocurrency industry is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all financial transactions are properly documented.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including preparation and filing of tax returns.
  • Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory authorities during audits and inspections.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations, particularly in the fintech and cryptocurrency industries.
  • Provide support in cash flow management and financial strategy development.

Requirements:

  • Professional qualification in accounting such as ACCA..
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, preferably in fintech, cryptocurrency, or financial services industries.
  • Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or equivalent).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
