Sustainability cum Safety & Health Officer (Sabah)

Job Description • Responsible for the region’s adherence to Safety and Health Policy and Implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System. • Responsible for continuously providing awareness of safety and health to all operating units. • Responsible for the evaluation and monitoring of all operating units’ Occupational Safety and Health performance including contractors. • Responsible for achieving the company’s yearly Occupational Safety, Health and Hygiene objectives. • Responsible for implementing certification requirements concerning occupational safety and health aspects. • Responsible for ensuring all laws and regulations about safety and health are properly adhered to in the operating units. Job Requirements: • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent. • At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position. • A qualified and registered Safety and Health Officer with the department of Occupational Safety and Health. • Competency in any OSH-related fields. • Good working knowledge of ISO 5001 and MSPO requirements. • Willing to travel and work irregular hours.
