Manager - Centre of Academic/Industry Collaboration

Job Overview The position holder will be responsible in the execution of the university's plan in expanding partnerships portfolio with other local and international- parties and organization Responsibilities Develop and initiate Partnerships Programme (Franchise) with International Partners delivering in delivering the university programmes; Develop and initiate Student Exchange Programmes (bi-directional) - inbound and outbound Student Exchanges; To source and establish successful partnerships (i.e. Dual Award, Franchise Programme and other relevant collaboration and partnership) for the University and its affilliated institutions; Develop frameworks, SOPs policies, regulations and other guidelines to ensure smooth running of all partnership programmes; Act as the main liaison person with prospective and current partners to ensure smooth operations and optimum satisfaction of students and partners can be obtained; To source, to conduct evaluation and due diligence on prospective partners; Responsible for connecting internal departments within the university with external rtners and to facilitate the process; To ensure all partnerships and collaboration programmes comply with all MOUs and OAs rulings and requirements; Advise and assist the Senate on matters related to related partnerships and programmes; Responsible for the success of the operations, development and growth of partnerships and programmes in terms of revenue; Report on various metrics for all related partnerships and programmes on a periodic; To ensure all relevant partnership activities are properly accounted for and all financial invoices are raised to partners within the stipulated timeline; and Assist with other relevant tasks and responsibilities related to the general scope of he said unit. Qualifications Required Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree; Possess at least a minimum of 5 years' of experience in education industry Academic or administrative, preferably in a similar role and capacity, and have proven demonstrable achievements; Have a solid experience in handling partnerships and network building; Knowledge on academic affairs will be an added advantage; and Able to write and converse well in English
