Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Claims Administrator to join our team in Singapore to process construction work claims. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the claims processing, document management, and contract management activities for the company. The role requires a strong focus on teamwork, multitasking and administrative skills. You will be required to work in our office located at Singapore (Woodlands area), Monday to Friday (9am to 6pm) with alternate Saturday (9am to 6pm)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in processing and managing contract claims efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to claims and contracts
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of claims
  • Utilize software tools such as Photoshop, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office for document management and processing
  • Support the team in various administrative tasks as needed
  • Work with a team of Claims Processors in office
  • Identify, analyze and develop responses to financial risks and Work to meet the monthly KPI
  • Track the project schedule, Outstanding Claims to be submitted, prepare/update value of works done and prepare/adjust claims done by sub-contractors and follow up closely.
  • To keep track and monitor the Works order issued, validity and progress of the projects
  • Work closely with the Project coordinator to determine the valuation of work done at site and responsible for the submission of timely claims, including negotiating and substantiate the basis for each progress claims up-to the settlement of variation orders and final account
  • ​​​​​​​Liaising with project managers, finance team, clients, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers for the purposes of submitting all pending claims in a timely-fashion with no documentation issues.
  • Prepare timely reports on claim and project status as requested by Management for monthly review and follow ups.
  • Other ad-hoc projects or duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in administrative tasks and document management
  • Familiarity and competent with software tools such as AutoCAD & Microsoft EXCEL
  • Basic understanding of claims processing and contract management
  • Diploma qualification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM7,300.00 per month
