Resident Engineer C&S (Building Construction)

We Are Hiring: Resident Engineer (C&S) for Building Construction, Keningau Key responsible: Supervise and monitor civil works on-site to ensure they are being executed in accordance with the approved design, technical specifications, and local regulations. Conduct site inspections and audits to verify the quality of materials, workmanship, and compliance with project standards. Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that construction works meet the required standards. Enforce strict adherence to safety policies and procedures in compliance with local safety regulations. Coordinate with the Project Manager to resolve issues related to design changes, schedule adjustments, and other project requirements. Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to the Project Manager, highlighting key issues and achievements. Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team, ensuring the proper implementation of engineering practices and construction methodologies. Review shop drawings, construction submittals, and material approvals from the contractor. Ensure accurate record-keeping of site activities, reports, and inspections. Maintain an up-to-date project log for site activities, work progress, and any issues encountered. Requirements : Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent. Registered as Professional Engineer with BEM. 5-6 years experiences in construction supervision of large scale infrastructure project such as road and bridge construction, highway, sewerage, drainage etc. Proven ability to perform in a management capacity, excellent written and oral communications skills. Required to stay on site at Sook, Keningau.
