- Conduct risk analysis and provide cost-saving solutions.
- Monitor project costs and ensure that they remain within budgetary constraints.
- Assess and manage contract variations, claims, and disputes.
- Work closely with the project team, including engineers and contractors, to ensure effective project delivery.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and assess value for money.
- Provide advice on procurement, tendering, and contract management.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Professional membership with a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, project management software, and cost estimation tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
