Responsibility: -

1. To implement and enforce safety policies and procedures that comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

2. To establish hazard safety management system and develop control measure for high-risk activities.

3. To monitor on department hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control (HIRARC)

4. To investigate any industrial incidents/accident or near misses, determine causes, develop preventive measures, and report findings to management.

5. To maintaining safety records, documentation and incident reports in accordance with established protocols.

6. To work closely with Management and employees to foster a culture of safety and raise safety awareness

7. To comply statutory requirements such as Department of environment (DOE), Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH), external audit and etc.

8. To develop and implement safety training program to ensure employees understand and follow the company's safety policy and procedures.

9. To communicate and supervise the external parties, either other plant or subcontractors to follow the company's safety rules and regulations

10. To conduct regular safety inspections of facilities, equipment and processes to identify potential hazards and suggest improvements.

11. To ensure that all company operation comply with Malaysia's safety regulations and standard's, such as OSHA 1994.

12. To oversee and ensure all safety equipment, including first aids kits, fire extinguishers, and personal protective equipment, to ensure they are in good condition.

13. To develop and implement emergency response plans to ensure safe evacuation and risk mitigation during emergencies.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science or a related field.

2. Posss Malaysian Occupational Safety and Health Professional Certification (e.g, Green Book Holder)

3. Possess Knowledge of Malaysia's occupational safety and health laws and regulations, with expertise in risk assessment and accident investigation.

4. At least 2-3 years of experience in workplace safety management, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From RM3,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

  • 13th month salary
