Responsibilities
- Prepare and review tax computations and returns for individuals, corporations, and other entities in compliance with Malaysian tax laws.
- Ensure timely submission of tax filings to the Malaysian Inland Revenue Board (LHDN).
- Handle tax payments and liaise with financial institutions as necessary.
- Provide clients with expert advice on tax planning and optimization strategies.
- Advise clients on the tax implications of business decisions, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Keep clients informed of significant changes in Malaysian tax regulations that might affect them.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in Malaysian and international tax regulations.
- Conduct in-depth research on complex tax matters and provide solutions to clients.
- Identify potential tax risks for clients and recommend strategies to mitigate them.
- Represent clients in tax audits and negotiations with the LHDN.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Address and resolve client queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other members of the tax department to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Mentor junior staff, providing guidance, training, and support as they navigate their roles.
- Participate in professional development programs to enhance technical knowledge and soft skills.
- Share knowledge and insights with team members, contributing to the overall growth of the department.
Requirements
- A recognized degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
- At least 3 years of relevant tax experience, preferably in a consultancy or corporate setting.
- Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Malaysian tax software and tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
REMUNERATION PACKAGES
Basic: RM 4,000 - RM 5,000
EPF, SOCSO, EIS. Bonus

Working Days: Monday - Friday
Working Hours: 9am - 6pm or 10am - 7pm
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
