Job Summary
Under the general guidance and supervision of the Security Manager and within the limits of established policies and procedures, to coordinate, oversee and implement the overall security operations of the Resort during the assigned shift.
Specifics of the Job
1. Shall know, demonstrate commitment to the Pulai Springs way including PSR Mission and Values.
2. Shall handle all security inquiries & requests with promptness, diligence, care and open communications.
3. Shall know and follow Resort’s Occupational Health and Safety procedures, fire and emergency procedures, Emergency Response Procedures to protect members, associates and their property.
4. Supervise the distribution, use and maintenance of all security equipment with care and diligence.
5. Ensure the cleanliness of work environment, security gates and guard house and all fittings there in are in serviceable condition at all times.
6. Shall assist in monitoring and coordinating all security requirements are met during the tour of duty.
7. Ensure security staffs are briefed for the tour of duty. Ensure tasks listed in security detail and those handed over are performed according to requirement.
8. Prepare all required reports in a timely and appropriate manner. I.e. incident and accident reports, maintenance of records and books/logs.
9. Act on any security and safety breaches/discrepancies found during the tour of duty.
10. Conduct static, mobile and foot patrols within the Resort premises.
11. Assist to conduct periodic inspection of fire fighting equipment such as extinguishers, fire hydrants, hose reels, emergency exit lights and report back any discrepancies
12. Assist to conduct inspection on all first aid kit boxes and replenish as necessary.
13. Assist to check, record and submit for verification to Security supervisor and Officer all results of monthly fire equipment and first aid kit checks.
14. Ensure all inspections and checks during tour of duty are carried out without fail.
15. Ensure all forms and log sheets are sufficient for the days use by the security department.
16. Ensure that the following documents are completed and checked daily before submission to the SM through the supervisor:
· Daily Night Inspection Check List.
· Associate Vehicle Movement Form.
· Daily Assignment Schedule.
· Entry and Exit Pass Record Form.
· Daily Key Control Record.
17. Conduct physical inspection of all personnel under your tour of duty and brief them on the activities to be held and their tasking.
18. Check and verify all Amano clocking that was done according to P&P requirements. Report any discrepancies and failures to SM immediately through the Supervisor on duty.
19. Inspect, verify and report to SM on all record books and diaries on a daily basis.
20. Act on all security issues that arise during tour of duty.
22. Monitor the diary /log book at the gates. Act accordingly/ report to the Supervisor accordingly.
20. Conduct, record and report on all night call checks.
21. Monitor the movement of associates, guests and visitors to and within the Resort.
22. Ensure smooth flow of traffic around the Resort and in the car park at all times.
23. Monitor movement of strangers, or people without purpose and take actions to ensure nothing untoward happens to the Resort and it’s users.
24. Conduct on and off scene investigation on incidents, accidents and dangerous conditions.
25. Take appropriate security action with regards to thefts, losses, locker searches, associate searches etc.
26. In the event of a death within the Resort, assist in handling the case. Be prepared to act as the liaison officer for the Resort Management.
27. Coordinate security tasks during special and large functions by allocating security and traffic control details.
28. Monitor and ensure all visitor’s, guests, members and associates entry are properly recorded by the security personnel on duty.
29. Monitor the security checks on all associates that go through security check at the Main gate.
30. Ensure that all security equipment such as hand phones and torch lights are charged and ready for use at all times.
31. Conduct body searches on persons whenever necessary and within the limits prescribed by the law.
32. Ensure all goods belonging to resort leaving the resort is properly accounted for and that they are returned accordingly in relation to the Outgoing Requisition Procedures.
33. Ensure all garbage and swill leaving the Resort is properly checked and accounted for at the Main Gate.
34. Assist in conduct of departmental training for all security associates.
35. Know and carryout as instructed all emergency procedures for fire fighting, Bomb threats, Emergency Response and First Aid.
36. Assist in conduct and control of fire drills for all associates.
37. Ensure all security associates under charge reflect the image of the Resort at all times.
38. Inspect security personnel’s turnout on a daily basis. Record and Report any discrepancies.
39. Keep security associates constantly informed of Fire Safety and Emergency Response procedures.
40. Assist in the induction of new security associates.
41. Monitor car park procedures and ensure that the security personnel conduct car park patrol and checks daily.
42. Act upon all incident reports, all reports relating to breach of security and safety
43. Provide security protection for all monies and valuables transferred within the resort premises.
44. Assist in conducting functional area training for all security associates.
45. Supervise and monitor performances of Security Guards.
