The Sales Specialist is responsible for providing presales technical expertise to the Sales Teams and Customers during the sales process for IT Expert Services products.

This role will manage and document the activities required in qualifying, scoping and translating the Customer’s business requirements into technical requirements and specifications.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and achieve sales targets and assigned KPI in ITES services sales
  • Actively work with the Sales team to uncover, qualify and propose technology services opportunities and solutions that add real value to customers.
  • Articulate and present statement of works and solution design documents that are concise, well defined, and easily understood.
  • Develop and maintain strong professional working relationships with Customers, Sales staff, and internal Operations teams
  • Provide consulting to customers where required
  • Assist with the creation of proposals and tender responses
  • Undertake discovery audits & service delivery discussions with potential customers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT or any relevant field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience in relevant industry, preferably IT related.
  • Strong understanding of IT concepts and infrastructure such as Public Cloud Architecture (Alibaba, Azure, AWS), Datacentre Infrastructure (HyperV, VMWare, Compute & SAN, Switching) and Network & Security (SD-WAN/SASE, NGFW, WiFi, Anti-Virus, Security Awareness)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Skilled in understanding customer needs and articulating them back to the Technical and Service Delivery Teams
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Pre-sales.
