Job Description:

As the AI Product Owner for our digital bank, you will be at the forefront of driving our AI initiatives forward. Your primary responsibility will be to align the AI developments and execution of AI-driven products that drive with the strategic goals of our digital bank. You will collaborate closely with the Product, Engineering and Data/AI team to define AI product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure successful implementation. This role involves working with multiple pods to identify the AI/ML opportunities, define the clear objectives and solve the customer pain points with state-of-the-art ML algorithms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand the bank’s product roadmap and AI capabilities to support the pods in integrating AI functionalities into the product features.
  • Collaborate with product owners and data scientists to conduct AI gap analysis and ensure that AI-powered features provide intuitive, seamless, and personalized experiences for digital banking customers.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders such as business leaders, data scientists and product team to solicit feedback, prioritize feature enhancements, and drive consensus on AI product roadmap decisions.
  • Define model metrics to measure the effectiveness and performance of AI products, leveraging analytics and monitoring tools to continuously optimize algorithms and workflows.
  • Develop the model validation and A/B testing strategies by defining clear objectives, selecting appropriate methodologies, establishing testing protocols, and analyzing results effectively.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and potential opportunities for innovation in AI-powered banking services, leveraging insights to inform product strategy and differentiation.
  • Act as an AI/ML champion by understanding user pain points, gathering feedback through user testing, and championing customer-centric design principles to deliver value-added AI solutions that meet the evolving needs of digital banking customers.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to AI technologies in banking, ensuring that AI products comply with relevant regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in data science or product development is required. Experience in both domains is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding in different AI algorithms, their applications in banking, and how to leverage AI technologies to solve business problems.
  • Be passionate about innovation and committed to continuous learning to stay abreast of industry developments and best practices.
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be capable of independently collaborating with various stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Strong understanding of data and analytics is necessary. You should be able to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve products and services.
  • Skilled in product management techniques such as market analysis, user research, feature prioritization, and roadmap planning.
