Administrative assistants perform administrative and office support for supervisors. They perform a variety of tasks, such as answering telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, ordering office supplies, maintaining the office facilities running smoothly, and ensuring that equipment and appliances work properly. Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a medium to large employee base, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of payroll. Review and reconcile payroll data, including salaries, bonuses, commissions, benefits, and deductions, to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain payroll records, including employee data, time and attendance records, and tax information. Ensure staff movement up to date in the HR System such as new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, and leave of absences, ensuring proper documentation and approvals. Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the business. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services. Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to obtain the best terms and prices. Work closely with internal teams to identify purchasing needs and ensure timely delivery of products and services. Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. Identify areas for improvement in the purchasing process and provide recommendations to management. Monitor inventory levels and work with vendors to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
