Role: The Executive, manage IT team to support and coordinate, day to day IT related functions at all Dwisolar Group of companies. Responsibilities: 1. IT Operations • Maintain IT infrastructure based on company’s directions and requirements. • Monitor IT system security in the organization to ensure safety of data and IT systems • Responsible as the system and network administrator for system maintenance and to liaise with vendor if problems exist. • Provide operational and technical support to end-users including installation, configuration, upgrading and troubleshooting of hardware/applications. • Responsible for several test phases, including feature, integration, regression, performance, system, and network interoperability. • Setup and maintain a number of server’s farm. e.g.: Windows Server 2000/ 2003/2008 E-mail Server. • Managing company data back-ups internal and external, and server disaster recovery network infrastructure to ensure minimal downtime in company operation. • Maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to the work. • Responsible for ordering and inventory of IT related equipment, consumables, spare parts etc. to ensure continuous IT operation. • Provide training, guidelines and proper handling of IT equipment to DWSB staffs to improve Standard Operation Procedure (SOP). • Prepared annual IT budget and expenditure monitoring the IT expenses within the approved budget. • Monthly reporting to HR Manager in all IT related issues, new technologies, cost monitoring and day-to-day operations updates. • Maintain DWSB social media for any event and public holiday celebration. • Monitor pabx system and telephony in the organization to ensure everything is working. • Responsible on CCTV installation & configuration • Ensuring company met all computing licensing, and other legal requirements are met and fulfilled. 2. Staffs/ Subordinates Management • Identify subordinates’ development and training needs and ensure training is obtained. • Keeping team motivated and achieve all company objectives 3. Corporate Communication Functions • Assist HRM and TM in organizing company functions or gatherings. • Liaise with vendors or suppliers for corporate gifts. • Assist HRM and TM in communication either via emails, posters or briefing to all employees or external parties for corporate matters. 4. Policy & Procedures • Review, update and maintains IT policy, Employee Handbook and SOP 5. ISO • To update document master record list. • To inform all Department on the changes and amendments of procedures. • Responsible under Human Resources Dept. 6. QHSE Responsibilities • Ensure continuous employee healthy and safe working environment. • Review, expand and update company employee handbook, related HR procedures or guidelines where applicable, i.e., to meet legal requirements, company business operations etc. • Quality and HSE procedures as per the ISO are being adhered and understood at all time and they are being communicated to staffs/subordinates. 7. Others • To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior. Accountabilities: 1. Company IT Operations, data security, data recovery, data back-ups for uninterrupted and continuous operation for business and staffs productivity. 2. Computing related licenses (hardware, software, etc.) are sufficient and updated. 3. IT consumables, spare parts are sufficient to ensure smooth and continuous operations (business and staffs productivity) Authorities: 1. As per the guideline of DWSB Limit of Authority for IT items. 2. Installation of security software, data back-ups or monitoring all staffs computing, emails, data’s on notebooks/ PC, for company security purposes as approved by HR Manager. 3. Supervising IT vendors/suppliers/contractors when they are at DWSB premises for any work related to IT as approved by HR Manager. Education Qualification: Minimum First Degree in Information Technology or its equivalent, or IT Diploma with 3 years IT working experience in any industry. Required Skills and/or Experience: 1. Good communication and written skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia 2. Good knowledge and skills in computing, networking, security systems, related IT hardware and software and trouble-shooting. 3. Minimum 4 years IT working experience in any industry, preferably with 1 year in supervisory or management and exposed to working in oil and gas industry.
