Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

1.

Sales & Customer Service

Maintains a profitable and reputable outlet by:

Handles cash transactions honestly, efficiently, and accurately.

Maintains efficient, friendly service standards at all time.

Participates in all sales promotions effectively and efficiently.

Politely answering the telephone & customer questions.

Reports all customer complaints to the Manager on duty.

Responds pro-actively to prevent customer service situations.

Handles all hot and colds drinks during drink preparation safely.

Verbally receives and calls back customer orders in a friendly manner.

So as to meet and exceed sales target, and surpass customer’s expectation on each occasion.

2.

Store Operations

Maintains an efficient and a smooth operation and work environment by:

Arranges items on the racks, tables, and static displays.

Checks display items on the shelf, to ensure that products are within the expiry period.

Informs the Manager on duty of any operational inconsistencies.

Replenishes necessary items at the condiments stand.

Reports all employee accidents to the Manager on duty.

Restocks shelves when necessary.

Cleans the bar area, floor, grinders, taking out trash, etc routinely.

Runs errands and when needed.

Updates the brew of the day and other information on the public information boards.

Participates in special events as and when needed.

So as to create an environment conductive for attaining monthly sales targets.

Plays a part in high performance team, that is:

Maintains a high level of motivation to ensure quality and consistent products.

Maintains positive Company morale.

Perpetuates Company philosophy and culture.

So as to contribute to a conducive and pleasant working environment.

Product Knowledge

Delivers a consistent quality Product, that is:

Maintains the highest quality, consistent product standards.

Oversees drink making and ensuring that only consistent quality drinks and products are served.

Strictly adheres to SOPs on all drink and gourmet items.

Store Presentation

Maintains a comfortable, conducive café, that is:

Maintains a clean, well-merchandised café.

Follows guidelines on music.

Keeps all tables cleared of trays and used utensils or cups.

Maintains dry and litter-free floors.

So as to provide a warm and inviting environment in which our customers can enjoy their world-class coffee or tea.

Minimum SPM level

  • Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred, however not required, as training will be provided in our Barista Academy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Pay: Up to RM2,400.00 per month
