Project Management:
- Oversee and manage landscaping projects from start to finish, including design, planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
- Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
- Manage job costing and provide regular updates on project budgets and expenses.
Team Leadership and Supervision:
- Supervise and lead a team of landscapers, foremen, and maintenance staff.
- Delegate tasks effectively, providing clear direction and ensuring work is completed efficiently and according to project plans.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, providing feedback and coaching to ensure continuous improvement and development of team members.
- Ensure safety protocols and company policies are followed on all job sites.
Client Communication and Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any questions or concerns regarding ongoing projects or maintenance services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Conduct site visits and regular follow-ups to ensure client expectations are being met.
Maintenance and Quality Control:
- Oversee regular maintenance of landscapes, ensuring that all grounds are kept in excellent condition, with attention to detail in mowing, trimming, planting, irrigation, and pest control.
- Monitor the quality of the team’s work, identifying areas for improvement and providing guidance to ensure the highest standards of work.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure projects are compliant with safety standards, local regulations, and client specifications.
Operational Efficiency:
- Manage inventory of landscape materials, equipment, and tools, ensuring they are properly maintained and readily available for use.
- Coordinate the scheduling of landscape crews and equipment to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.
- Track and report on labor and equipment usage, ensuring optimal efficiency and cost control.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure that all work sites are in compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Enforce the use of appropriate safety gear and equipment on all job sites.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and local ordinances related to landscaping services.
Administrative Support:
- Assist with preparing estimates and proposals for new projects and services.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, project progress, and client communications.
- Provide regular reports on project status, team performance, and operational issues to senior management.
Experience:
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin is an added advantage
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in landscaping, landscape maintenance, or landscape construction, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Experience in project management, budgeting, and scheduling for landscaping or construction projects.
- Knowledge of landscaping techniques, materials, and horticultural practices.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Environmental Design, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Certifications in landscaping, irrigation, or horticulture (e.g., CLT, ISA, pesticide applicator) are a plus.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and client expectations.
- In-depth knowledge of landscaping maintenance and design, including irrigation, plant care, pest management, and turf management.
- Proficiency with industry-specific software (e.g., project management tools, estimating software).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly and efficiently.

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate landscaping equipment and vehicles.
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and occasional overtime, especially during peak seasons.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional):
- Experience with sustainable landscaping practices or green landscaping initiatives.
- Familiarity with landscape design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp).
- Knowledge of local climate conditions and how they affect landscaping choices and maintenance schedules.
