JOB SUMMARY: The Maintenance Clerk/Equipment Coordinator (Truck Maintenance) will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Truck Maintenance Department. JOB DESCRIPTION: 1. Record-Keeping: Maintain and update maintenance logs, records of repairs, services, inspections, and equipment history. 2. Documentation: Prepare and process maintenance-related documents such as purchase orders, service agreements, invoices, and work orders. 4. Inventory Management: Track and monitor spare parts and maintenance supplies inventory, ensuring sufficient stock levels and ordering supplies when necessary. 5. Data Entry: Input data related to truck repairs, servicing, fuel usage, and other relevant metrics into the system. 6. Vendor Coordination: Liaise with external vendors for repair services, procurement of parts, and related services. Ensure timely processing of vendor invoices. 7. Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all maintenance activities are compliant with safety and regulatory standards. Maintain up-to-date records for vehicle inspections and certifications. 8. Communication: Serve as a point of contact for the maintenance department, handling internal and external inquiries related to truck maintenance and repairs. 9. General Administrative Support: Perform general clerical duties such as filing, copying, answering phone calls, and email correspondence related to truck maintenance operations.
