RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION
The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, including evaluating overall performance and deliver activities to ensure set targets are met to promote profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Monitor and enforce operational procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and local laws.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple cafe locations to ensure consistent quality, exceptional customer service, smooth operational flow and sales performance.
- Analyze and improve store performance, identifying areas of improvement in efficiency, cost control, and overall productivity.
- Establish and manage operational budgets, including cost control strategies to maximize profitability.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, train, and mentor store managers and staff to ensure a cohesive, motivated, and high-performing team across all locations.
- Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and implement employee development programs to ensure team growth and retention.
- Manage staffing levels to ensure appropriate coverage during peak hours and seasonal demand, overseeing recruitment, training, and scheduling.
Customer Experience:
- Ensure a consistently high standard of service and product quality across all stores to exceed customer expectations.
- Regularly assess customer feedback and implement strategies to address any issues, improve satisfaction, and promote customer loyalty.
- Develop and implement local marketing initiatives and promotions to increase foot traffic and build brand awareness.
Financial Oversight:
- Monitor key financial metrics, including sales, expenses, inventory levels, and profit margins, to ensure the stores meet financial goals.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory, product quality, and store operations to reduce waste and optimize costs.
- Oversee procurement processes, ensuring that stores have the right stock levels of food, beverages, and supplies.
Requirement:
- Proven experience (5+ years) in an operations management role, preferably in the foodservice or cafe industry.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- In-depth understanding of operational processes, inventory management, cost control, and customer service best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on operational efficiency.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and analyzing financial data.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
