PURCHASING MANAGER

• Establish a strategic procurement plan to identify, evaluate and select suppliers based on cost, quality, reliability and alignment with company requirement, and optimizing supply chain efficiencies.
• To develop and maintain strong relationship with suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain and timely delivery of materials
• Providing solutions to improve company spending and outsourcing.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts including costs and terms of supply, service, time delivery and quality.
• Analyzing and calculating procurement costs and developing cost reduction strategies.
• Procurement of raw materials and suppliers based on company's demands.
• Work with engineering and support all RFQ as requested by management
• Assessing quotes and compiling a detailed assessment of cost breakdowns.
• Generating quote comparisons and contributing to internal supplier selection based on the quotes.
• Ensure the purchasing team real-time update all the purchasing data in the ERP system and maintain it accurately
• Fosters a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement within the team and company.
• Manages, organizes and prioritizes tasks and responsibilities of individual workers to ensure optimal use of resources and achieve operational efficiencies.
• Take up any task or assignment from top management from time to time.

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven work experience as Purchasing Manager or similar role
• High preference with work experience in metal sheet, or metal fabrication industry.
