Production Reporting Officer

As a Production Reporting Officer, you are required to check, analyse, validate, correct and report on the production data, replenishment of materials, stock control in order to ensure all data regarding product process flows is complete and correct in the SAP. Some of your main duties & responsibilities: * You need to gather all production data involved parties (purchasing, production, logistics), evaluates by checking, matching and comparing them with the bill of materials and in the end ensures completeness and correctness of data in the designated information systems * You are required to make necessary corrections, transfers adaptions (new packing, new codes, return, equivalence factor) * You would need to ensure the periodical (daily, weekly, monthly) closing of specific transactions in the designated information systems as well as the technical closing (TECO) of all the process orders and reports on finalized process orders * Sets up the necessary reports, exports them out of the designated information systems, analyzes the data (e.g. variances, efficiency, balance, etc.) on shift/ daily basis *Reports to internal parties identifies the possible sources of variances, initiate discussions with respective stakeholders & come out with agreed corrective/preventive actions as a team, then monitor adherence * Acts as a key user in designated information systems or modules and related to product or process flows, gives support to end users, elaborates change requests specifically regarding Production Reporting and solves urgent issues * You are required to participate and monitor the execution of or executes the cycle counts frequency at internal and/or external storage locations, reports and escalates calamities/discrepancies regarding inventory quantities or values towards the supply Chain Manager, and corrects the data in the designated information systems * Assist with documentation filing * Assist with documentation traceability during audits * Responsible for data entry in other regulatory related software on timely basis * Responsible for PR creation and liaise with purchaser on purchasing Who are we looking for? You'll succeed if: * You have a minimum diploma in any field or equivalent through experience. * Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English * Good analytical skills, attentive to detail and multi-tasking abilities * You have solid working experience in a production environment, preferably in the chemical industry. * You are willing to work in shift rotation * You must be willing to work in Pulau Indah, Port Klang
