Your work will support company global push to standardise and optimise Procurement operations – by delivering buying channels that support efficient procurement, comply to procurement policy, and meet business requirements. This is a global role and will offer the opportunity to work alongside a wide range of internal teams (Procurement S2C, Procurement P2P, Business) and external stakeholders (Suppliers). Guided Buying Channel Development: Lead the design, configuration, and customization of SAP Ariba Guided Buying channels to align with company's global procurement improvements. Catalogue & Content Management: Set up and maintain procurement catalogues, content, and supplier information within the SAP Ariba Guided Buying platform. Ensure that catalogues are easy to navigate and comply with business standards. Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement activities focused around Ariba Guided Buying team ways-of-working and deliverables. Taking a consultative approach, identify and deliver opportunities for improvement including (1) Content, e.g. work with Category teams to support improved search outcomes, improved tile structure, (2) Buying channel e.g. work with Category teams to recommend best-fit buying channels against commodities or categories of spend, (3) Process e.g. work with Ariba Guided Buying team to improve process efficiency, and input Content changes via upload of JSON or Microsoft Excel templates rather than UI inputs. Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, IT, finance, and suppliers, to understand requirements and implement changes in the system as needed. System Testing: Conduct thorough testing of SAP Ariba Guided Buying channels, including functional and user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure system accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve any technical or functional issues within the buying channels, coordinating with IT or SAP support teams when necessary. Documentation & Training: Develop documentation required to support adoption of Ariba Guided Buying channels (e.g. process maps, test scripts, training materials). Where required, provide training to procurement and end-users to support desired outcomes. Supplier Enablement: Facilitate supplier onboarding to SAP Ariba Guided Buying channels, ensuring they are equipped to manage catalogues and contracts as needed. Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure that Ariba buying channels are configured in compliance with the relevant policies and standards (bp Corporate, bp Procurement). QUALIFICATIONS: Educational background degree in a technical or related equivalent business discipline. MCIPS/ISM qualification, or at stage of pre-qualification, desirable. Experience • Minimum 5 years working experience in Procure to Pay procurement processes and systems • Minimum 3 and above years of experience with Ariba Procurement and Sourcing processes with focus on setting up Ariba Guided Buying catalogues, and deployments of similar scope and scale. • Proven expertise with Ariba Procurement & Catalogue solutions, catalogue enablement process (static and punchout), and overall use of catalogues • Ability to coordinate, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for catalogue data and catalogue transactions with technical team • Experience working with data in Excel using pivot tables and various other key Excel functions to analyze, organize and present data.
