Key Responsibilities Store Operations Ensure smooth daily operations of the retail store(s). Monitor store performance, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards. Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and daily reconciliation. Sales and Profitability Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability. Analyze sales data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement. Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets. Customer Service Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve customer issues promptly. Ensure the store environment is welcoming, clean, and organized. Train staff on delivering exceptional customer service experiences. Staff Management Recruit, train, and manage a team of retail associates. Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to improve employee performance. Schedule staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during business hours. Inventory Management Oversee inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts. Coordinate with suppliers for timely restocking of products. Perform regular stock counts and address discrepancies. Marketing and Promotions Plan and execute in-store promotions and events. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop local marketing initiatives. Monitor competitor activity and recommend adjustments to marketing strategies. Compliance Ensure all operations comply with local regulations and safety standards. Maintain accurate records of sales, expenses, and other critical business metrics.
