Building Technician / M&E Technician / Facilities Technician / Technical Officer
Basic Salary: Up to $2,800 ( Based on experience)
Working Hours: 5.5 days
Mon - Fri: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
Sat: 8:30 am - 12:30 pm

Location: Islandwide ( Specific areas discussed during the interview!)

Building Technician

• Perform routine repairs and maintenance, such as fixing doors, windows, and etc.
• Conduct minor electrical work, including basic wiring and lighting repairs.
• Carry out plumbing tasks such as repairing leaks, clearing blockages, and replacing fixtures.
• Handle carpentry work, including assembling furniture and installing fixtures like shelves and cabinets.
• Undertake general upkeep duties such as painting, patching walls, and cleaning gutters.
• Respond promptly to client or resident requests for on-site fixes and improvements.
• Maintain tools and materials in good condition and ensure a clean and organized work.

M&E Technician

• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems such as elevators, pumps, and HVAC systems to ensure their proper functioning.
• Perform installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems, including lighting, wiring, and distribution panels.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems to identify potential issues early.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults promptly to minimize downtime.
• Execute any additional duties as assigned.

Facilities Technician

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and repair issues to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
• Conduct troubleshooting and repair tasks for systems such as lighting, wiring, pumps, and elevators.
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of ventilation, refrigeration, and other facility-related systems.

Technical Officer (Facilities Technician Leader/Supervisor

• Oversee and guide maintenance teams during repair and troubleshooting tasks to ensure smooth execution.
• Collaborate with external vendors and contractors to coordinate services and maintain quality standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance, repair, and servicing, including proactive and emergency maintenance as needed.
• Respond promptly to defects and service requests, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
• Adhere strictly to safety guidelines during all maintenance activities to uphold a safe working environment.
• Compile comprehensive technical reports on equipment breakdowns and recommend solutions or improvements.
• Monitor and update work schedules, allocate resources, and track task completion to meet deadlines.
• Interpret engineering schematics and apply relevant codes of practice to complete technical work.
• Other duties as assigned.
