Key responsibilities: -Design & Development: Develop and review mechanical designs for process equipment, including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, separators and pipelines, ensuring adherence to industry standards and client spesifications. - Fabrication Monitoring: 1. Supervise and monitor the fabrication process at workshops and vendors facilities to ensure equipment meets design spesifications and quality standards. 2. Conduct inspections during fabrication and assembly phases to ensure compliance with ASME, API and other relevant coded. 3. Review and verify welding procedures, material certifications and inspection report. - Technical Analysis: Perform calculations, stimulations and finite element analysis (FEA) to verify the performance and reliability of process equipment under operational conditions. - Compliance & Standards: Ensure all projects meet regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal quality benchmarks. - Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure all fabricated components undergo non-destructive testing (NDT) and other quality checks as required. - Documentation: Prepare and review technical documentation, including fabrication drawings, progress reports, and quality inspection records. - Stakeholder Collaboration: 1. Work closely with fabricators, vendors, and third-party inspectors to resolve fabrication or design issues. 2. Liaise with project teams to ensure fabrication timelines align with overall project schedules. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. - Experience: o 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on process equipment design and fabrication. - Hands-on experience in supervising fabrication and assembly processes in oil and gas projects. - Technical Expertise: 1. Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks). 2. Familiarity with codes and standards such as ASME Section VIII, API, AWS, and ISO. 3. Knowledge of welding processes, materials, and fabrication techniques. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. - Excellent communication skills for working with clients, fabricators, and inspectors. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with project management tools and processes. Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8.30 AM - 5.30 PM)
