Process Engineer:

  • Designing and testing process upgrades and new process systems.
  • Performing process simulations and troubleshooting issues.
  • Meeting with departmental HODs to assess existing processes.
  • Drafting process ideas to reduce costs and improve production efficiency.
  • Performing risk assessments.
  • Ensuring processes comply with safety and quality standards.
  • Performing optimization tests.
  • Developing routines and best practices to ensure product quality.
  • Developing standardized operating instructions for the upgrades process.
  • Assists in collaborating with various areas of the organization to provide direction on specific engineering projects.
  • Supports evaluating new product designs for manufacturability, quality, and reliability.
  • Communicates with peers and management (status, issues, ideas for improvement).
  • Creates presentations as required to support internal and external program reviews.
  • Helps evaluate and analyse data acquired during test and make recommendations for process modifications based on analysis.
  • Determine customer requirements while making cost-effective, innovative recommendations in the selection and application of products.

Program Engineer:

  • To form the Customer Focus Team, coordinating and develop Project Schedule Plan, from the project start to the mass production.
  • To follow with individual team members to ensure the completion of each task to the timeline.
  • To update to the customers on the project execution status.
  • To be able to mitigate and escalate the Risk to Timeline of the project.
  • To review into the project cost and to ensure the project is executed within the budget.
  • To follow up from customers on Design and Engineering/ Process changes.
  • Assist the Engineers to coordinate projects on tooling which include liaison with customers’ on qualification of tools.
  • Implement changes based on changing demands and assist management in providing financial justification for projects yielding improvement for customer response.
  • Support projects tasks, such as conducting inspections, preparing cost-benefit analyses, placing orders, verifying receipts, achieving target output, performing quality control checks, preventing product holds, and collaborating with managers and contractors.
  • Identify program technical risk during all phases of program.
  • Author program plans, test plans, test reports, and program reports.
  • Support resolution of supply chain technical issues.
  • Support manufacturing to ensure successful execution of product assembly.
  • Plan, support, witness and report on test activities.
  • Lead failure investigation to identify root cause and corrective action.
  • Establish report and effective communication with customers.
  • Identify R&D continuous improvement plan.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering
  • Knowledge of Metal Stamping, Tool & Die/Mold Making will be a distinct advantage
  • Knowledge of general application software is a must.
  • PC literate & able to work independently.
  • Excellent analytical and math skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
