Objective of the Position

As a Packaging Development Technologist, you will design, develop, optimize, and create functional packaging solutions that align with product and brand requirements while meeting sustainability goals. This includes staying updated on advancements in packaging design, materials, machinery, and industry trends.

You will support new product development initiatives, drive packaging renovations and facelifts, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, work closely with designers and packaging suppliers, and conduct packaging challenge tests and transportation trials to ensure optimal performance.

Position Responsibilities

    -Lead or support new product development (NPD) projects by providing packaging expertise that ensures alignment with product performance, market needs, and consumer expectations. -Drive packaging renovation and facelift initiatives to enhance product appeal, functionality, and cost-effectiveness. -Design, develop, optimize, and deliver functional packaging solutions in collaboration with designers and packaging suppliers, ensuring alignment with product specifications, brand standards, and sustainability goals. -Conduct packaging challenge tests, transportation trials, and shelf-life studies to validate packaging performance and durability. -Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, food safety requirements, and corporate guidelines in all packaging solutions. -Maintain detailed documentation for packaging specifications, testing results, and compliance records, ensuring products, processes, and systems meet Quality and Compliance Standards. -Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain, to align packaging strategies with business objectives. -Stay updated on advancements in packaging design, materials, machinery, and emergin
