Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and other documents.
  • Support recruitment by coordinating interviews and onboarding new hires.
  • Assist with payroll, benefits, attendance, and leave tracking.
  • Ensure HR practices follow local labor laws, including the Sabah Labour Ordinance.
  • Handle HR-related inquiries, meetings, and office supplies.
  • Support workplace safety policies and incident reporting.
  • Track leave requests and maintain accurate records.
  • Organize training sessions and keep training records up to date.
  • Draft and manage HR memos, meeting notes, and letters.
  • Assist in drafting and updating HR policies.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Some experience in an HR or administrative role preferred; fresh graduates with relevant skills are welcome.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with HR software is a plus.
  • Strong accuracy in data entry, record-keeping, and document management.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills for effective employee and departmental interaction.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time well, and keep records organized.
  • Understanding of basic HR functions, labor laws, and willingness to learn the Sabah Labour Ordinance.
  • High level of confidentiality, integrity, and a positive attitude when assisting the Sr. HR and other team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
