Key Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site maintenance work of switchboard related matters.
- Perform site survey, preparation and installation of busbar system including assembly of components, busbar conductors, insulators, and support structures.
- Connect busbars to electrical panels, transformers, switchgear, and other equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections of busbar systems to identify and rectify any potential issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and reliability of busbar systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults in busbar systems, including replacing damaged components and ensuring proper connections.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensure that all work complies with relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Participate in safety training sessions and stay updated on industry best practices.
- Work closely with other members of the project team, including engineers, electricians, and site supervisors.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any concerns.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and apprentices as needed.
- Assembly training and busbar design at factory will be provided by Supervisor.
- To be base in factory to support Assembly Department when not required to attend site.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Designer or any equivalent background
- Experience in related field has great advantages.
- Must be willing to travel when required
- Good communication skills
