Boilerman Cum Maintenance

Job Duties 6.1 Conduct the Utility and facility patrol by daily to ensure the working condition of Boiler, WWTP and other machinery. 6.2 Check, monitor and ensure the running of boilers are in safe operating conditions. 6.3 Prepare chemical, analysis and control boiler water operating limits. 6.4 Manual operation of gas and diesel boiler. 6.5 Repair and maintain the boiler and steam related machineries and accessories. 6.6 Respond to production on steam upset and demand. 6.7 Troubleshoot and rectify problem pertaining to machines and operation at boiler house. 6.8 Able to hands-on and perform simple metal fabrication and fittings work. 6.9 Ensure safety rules and regulations with the GMP complied. 6.10 Operates and supervises on a continual basis a high pressure steam boiler (100- 150 psi and less than 25 bhp); monitors steam pressure and operates manual release and blow off valves. 6.11 Performs routine cleaning and maintenance of boiler component; tube, fire box and etc. 6.12 Perform repair and parts replacement as required to pass boiler inspection and ensure safe operation. 6.13 Fires the boiler up with coal prior to crew arrival at work and cleans the fire box daily. 6.14 Performs other related duties as required. 6.15 Responsible for operation and maintenance of boiler, electricity and machinery. 6.16 Operate and ensure operating in safe and efficient manner. 6.17 To maintain, monitor, establish standards and keep good records for Boiler Maintenance. 6.18 To ensure the boilers are kept in good running condition at all time. 6.19 To make necessary preparations and follow-ups with contractors for annual boiler inspections by the relevant authorities. 6.20 Maintenance work as machine electrical repair, mechanical repair, air compressor maintenance, air conditional services or repair. 6.21 To assist in other maintenance duties as and when assigned by the superior. 6.22 To monitor production process (chiller, air compressor, boiler, city water pump and utility pump) from breakdown during operation process. 6.23 Handle unfired pressure vessel (air compressor, carbon lifter tank, retort, air receiver tank). 6.24 To ensure all pump in satisfactory condition. 6.25 To supervise the operation of WWTP, chiller, compressor and always check the strainer and pump coupling. 6.26 Daily inspection at the boiler on gauge glass, safety valve, burner flame, chimney, smoke emission, exhaust gas temperature, boiler pressure, internal gas pipeline, feed water tank temperature and level, circulation pump pressure, water supply tank and blowdown valve.
