Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Solar Specialist to lead the development and sales of solar power products and projects across Southeast Asia (SEA) countries. Based in Seri Kembangan, this role will focus on driving the adoption of solar energy solutions, providing technical expertise, and managing projects in diverse regional markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise to clients regarding the design, installation, and maintenance of solar power systems.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, energy audits, and site assessments to determine the most suitable solar solutions for various customer needs.
  • Assist in the development of proposals, cost estimates, and project specifications, ensuring all technical requirements are met.
  • Manage solar power projects from initial concept through to commissioning, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
  • Oversee the preparation of project documentation, including permits, contracts, and compliance with local regulations across different SEA countries.
  • Provide training and support to the sales and technical teams, helping them understand the technical aspects of solar products and project workflows.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network, build partnerships, and showcase the company’s capabilities.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create and execute regional marketing campaigns that raise awareness of solar power benefits and the company’s offerings.
  • Liaise with local government bodies and regulatory authorities to understand solar energy policies, incentives, and programs that can support project development.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the solar power industry, with a focus on technical consultation, or project management in regional markets.
  • Strong understanding of solar power systems, technologies, and regulatory frameworks in SEA countries.
  • Knowledge of government regulations, incentives, and policies related to solar energy in SEA countries.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with solar project financing models and return on investment (ROI) analysis.
  • Willingness to travel across SEA countries to manage projects, meet clients, and explore new business opportunities.
