Position: Courier Team Lead

Location: Pandamaran, Klang

Basic Salary: RM2000

Team Lead Allowance: RM500

KPI Allowance; RM500

Incentive: based on delivery (RM1500 an above)

Job Overview:

As Team Lead, you are responsible for leading and supporting a team of drivers and riders. Your focus will be on fostering a positive and engaging work environment, ensuring that team members feel valued and supported in their roles. You are also expected to lend your ears to listen and assist to clear issues among all drivers and riders that may affect their work performance.

· Lead and motivate a team of drivers and riders to foster a positive, engaging and motivating work environment;

· Driver and Rider Engagement:

• Conduct regular engagement activities with the drivers and riders to build and nurture good relationships within them;
• Provide support and assistance to address issues affecting their morale and productivity;
• Foster open communication and encourage team members to be open and to share feedback;

o Create a positive, family-like atmosphere that encourages teamwork and collaboration;

o Act as a liaison person between team members and the assigned Area Manager, ensuring clear communication and to provide support to team members;

o Escalate all operational issues to the Area Manager when attention or intervention is required;

· Courier Services:

o Load packages carefully to be delivered to the assigned recipients safely based on given and proposed routes;

o Upload PODs into the system within the stipulated timeline;

o To return acknowledged and signed DO from customer, as per the SOP upon returning to the hub/depot;

o Adhere to all regulated rules and laws (i.e. regulated by JPJ, PDRM and other related laws and regulations);

o Adhere to all given and related SOPs;

o Maintain the cleanliness of the assigned vehicle, to perform routine checks and to report any vehicle issues promptly to the designated person;

o Promptly report any incidents, accidents or issues encountered while carrying-out duties;

o Provide quality and professional service while ensuring timely and quality delivery services;

· To adhere to the working attire policy where all staff who are assigned with the Company’s uniform must properly wear them at all times while on duty in order to maintain a professional and cohesive appearance;

· Adhere to the Company’s rules, regulations and policies; and

To perform other related duties as and when is assigned by the management.
