Construction managers plan, direct and coordinate the construction of civil engineering projects, buildings and infrastructure works, either as the manager of a department or as the general manager of an enterprise or organization that does not have a hierarchy of managers.
Tasks include –
Interpreting structure, architectural and interior design drawings and specifications;
Coordinating labour resources and procurement and delivery of materials, plant and equipment;
Negotiating with building owners, property developers and subcontractors involved in the construction process to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget;
Operating and implementing coordinated work programmes for sites;
Ensuring adherence to building legislation and standards of performance, quality, cost and safety;
Building under contract, or subcontracting specialized building services;
Overseeing the selection, training and performance of staff and subcontractors.
To lead in Client Consultant Meetings, Technical Meetings & Site Meetings.
Responsible for all project activities to ensure compliance to the project drawings & specifications, work schedule, safety and relevant requirements.
To provide reporting & updates to superior and Management.
Undertake all other duties, task and responsibilities as required by the superior & Management from time to time.
Have full cycle of project experience in residential and commercial projects.
Able to manage project independently with minimum supervision.

Bachelor Degree in Civil & Structural/ Mechanical & Electrical/ Architecture or related discipline with minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in property development
Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia (English is a must).
Proficient in MS Office applications with good report writing skills.
Proactive and ability to work in fast pace environment meeting tight project deadline.
Strong analytical skill and detail oriented.
Good project management skills with the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities for maximum delivery result.
Proven leadership and problem solving skill in projects.
