Site Safety Supervisor

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Assist PIC of the project at site in implementing the enforcement on the requirement of the occupational safety and health. 2. Daily walking inspection within the site and rectify any usage condition to the PIC or Project Manager. 3. Conduct tool box meeting and maintain update the attendance report. 4. Conduct the initial safety induction training to all workers working in the site as to procedure concerning safety and health. 5. Attend any safety and health inspection or audit and submit the report to the client and PIC. 6. Inspecting on-site scaffolding structures across numerous site and submit the report to the clients and PIC. 8. Ensure the employees understand the risks and consequences of its failure and impact to HSE and company reputation and liability. 9. To monitor and review the effectiveness the HSE system in place. 10. Responsible to establish actions to address risks and opportunities risks control plans in the site or workshop. 11. To conduct the tasks as the HSE Committee members and any other task related to safety matters by the HOD or higher authority. 12. To monitor and conduct the surveillance the effectiveness of the HSE system at the work place. 13. Carry out any other instructions made by the Management on any matters to safety & health in the site or workshop. 14. Carry out inspection on the fire fighting appliance, lifting gears, cutting torch monthly and maintain the inspection report for any audit. 15. Monitor unsafe condition and act and report any violent of the safety rules to the Project PIC/Project Engineer or Supervisor. REQUIREMENTS 1. Certificate/ Diploma in Engineering (Environmental/ Health/ Safety) or at least a DOSH Yellow book for site safety supervisor (SSS). 2. Experiences 1 or 2 years in Site Safety Supervisor. 2. Possess excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with clients enquiries, etc. 3. Able to work independently and self-motivated.
