Job Responsibilities

General:

  • Prepare and lead weekly and monthly meetings with actionable outcomes.

Documentation, Policies, Manuals, and SOPs:

  • Create and distribute guidelines and FAQ documents on company policies.
  • Maintain accurate physical and digital personnel records, including employment contracts.
  • Ensure all agreements, policies, and contracts comply with Malaysian employment laws.
  • Gather payroll data such as bank account details and working days.

Recruitment and Hiring:

  • Schedule and coordinate job interviews, contacting candidates as needed.
  • Manage talent acquisition by publishing and removing job ads.
  • Update internal databases with new hire and exit information.
  • Prepare reports on HR metrics like hiring trends by department.

Training and Development:

  • Develop onboarding and training materials to ensure seamless integration for new hires.

Employee Relations:

  • Respond efficiently to employee inquiries regarding benefits and company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws when addressing employee grievances.

Performance Management:

  • Oversee workforce productivity by defining and tracking KPIs for all staff.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience with at least 5+ years in HR within one company.
  • Educational background in HR (Diploma/Degree preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in policies and agreements.
  • Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Analytical and data-driven approach to HR metrics.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS/talent management systems.
