The Product Delivery (PD) function, part of the Customer Delivery team, is responsible for evaluating and ensuring delivery readiness for a suite of integrated products and services in collaboration with the Product and Engineering teams. PD oversees the implementation of new and complex products and platforms while establishing standardized processes for scalable future implementations. Additionally, PD serves as a knowledge expert on Mastercard products and services, providing essential support to both internal and external customers during implementation projects.
The Product Delivery Project/Integration Team in Asia Pacific plays a critical role in PD, partnering with Customer Solution Centers (CSC) across the region and markets. This team contributes to pre-sales activities, supports solution definition, and manages projects for solutions initiated by CSC. The team also offers project management expertise to facilitate the implementation of complex products and services for customers across the Asia Pacific region.
The Role
1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, Customer Solution Centers (CSC) across Asia-Pacific markets, and external customers to understand and gather solution requirements.
2. Analyze collected requirements and assist Product and Sales teams in preparing the Delivery Solution Assessment document.
3. Serve as a liaison between business and IT teams, translating customer needs into actionable IT objectives, identifying potential solutions, and defining project requirements.
4. Conduct gap analyses and feasibility studies in collaboration with Product teams and subject matter experts (SMEs).
5. Assess the solution scope to ensure Mastercard products and services can effectively meet the defined objectives, ensuring all necessary readiness steps are in place.
6. Collaborate with implementation teams to develop a comprehensive implementation plan, covering initiation, planning, system configuration, testing strategies, production deployment, and operational handover.
7. Facilitate workshops and training sessions for internal teams to provide details on CSC deals and enable successful implementation.
8. Lead and manage CSC projects, overseeing end-to-end implementation processes.
9. Conduct customer kickoff sessions to initiate projects, align stakeholders, and manage a master implementation project schedule.
10. Distribute regular project status updates and facilitate stakeholder meetings to ensure alignment and progress.
11. Monitor and manage project schedules, addressing risks, issues, scope changes, and any events that may impact timelines or progress.
All About You
1. Comprehensive knowledge of the payments domain, including expertise in authorization, clearing, and settlement processes.
2. Proficient understanding of eCommerce, tokenization, and digital payment technologies.
3. Good working knowledge and experience on API troubleshooting is a must but hands-on coding experience is not required.
3. Exceptional ability to manage requirements and produce high-quality documentation, such as Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and Solution Scope documents.
4. Extensive experience in contributing to and managing the delivery of integrated solutions, including developing delivery frameworks for CSC projects.
5. Excellent project management skills to lead complex initiatives; certification in Project Management is an advantage.
6. A technical and product-focused mindset, enabling the delivery of end-to-end solutions across diverse customer landscapes, from initial requirements to final business launch.
7. Proven ability to work effectively within a matrix-based, diverse, and geographically distributed project team.
8. Demonstrated experience collaborating across various levels, functions, and regions; skilled at communicating complex technical and business concepts clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
10. Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
