We are seeking an analytical and creative Full Stack Designer capable of managing the entire design process, from strategy and research to UX design and final implementation. Candidates should have a strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX and technical projects, proficiency in UX principles, and familiarity with front-end coding, particularly HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Job Description
· Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills is required.
· Experience with Webflow or a strong willingness to learn and adapt to it.
· Excellent knowledge of user-cantered design (UCD) and design UX solutions to reduce maintenance cost & improve end-user’s experience.
· Strong background of UX principles and methods, Human factors, and usability standards.
· Study and evaluate how users feel about and use a system, looking at things like ease of use, perception of the value, utility, and efficiency in performing tasks.
· Crunch data, organize information, understand human behaviour as it relates to their projects, and create interactive experiences that draw users in and keep them coming back.
· Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability).
· Understand product specifications and user psychology.
· Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends.
· Create personas through user research and data.
· Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture.
· Deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
· Prior experience in developing UI framework for mid to large size organization is a plus.
· Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success.
· Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
· Collaborate with product development to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience.
· Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards.
· Execute all visual design stages from research, concept to final hand-off to development. Able to communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers.
· Proficient in design software (e.g. Adobe XD, Balsamiq, Figma).
· Proficient in prototyping tools including Photoshop, Figma, Illustrator, Sketch, InVision, etc…
· Planning & conducting user research, usability testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, and identifying accessibility concerns.
Job requirements
· Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in a Design or Computing-related subject are encouraged to apply.
· Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills is required.
· Minimum three or more years of UI design experience in UI designing using best practices and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
· Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing software, e-commerce and entertainment platform
· Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback.
· Have an open-minded mindset to receiving feedback.
· Problem-solving aptitude.
· Analytical mind with a business acumen.
· Communicate clearly and effectively on the design processes, ideas, and solutions to the development teams, business stakeholders, and product management teams.
· Excellent communication with ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
Job Types: Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,400.00 per month
